Lackadaisical. That’s the longest word that I know

Err. Err – I’ve done it again! – if you’re conscious of it it’s really hard not to. And it’s bad listening to someone who does it. Jonny Bairstow is the biggest err-er. We’re too dumb to think of something else…

My tiny head. People perceive me as being a bit fat – I’m not, I’ve just got an ordinary-size body and a really small head

If you could edit your past, what would you change?
I’d have been a batter instead of a bowler. They have it easier. How many times has a batter broken his back?

What is your idea of happiness?
Just a roof over my head and food in my belly. I’m quite easily pleased

Selfishness

Steve Redgrave, for all he achieved

Getting injured before the last Test of the summer
