There have been 22 left-handed batters who have scored more than fifty runs while opening the batting on their men’s ODI debut. The first such incident happened way back in 1971.

Only four of the 22 players went on to convert their fifties into hundreds, with the last hundred by a left-handed opener on men’s ODI debut coming in 2017.
