Warner was one of the casualties of the collapse as he chopped on a Mir Hamza delivery trying to pull it from outside off stump. He was out for six off 16 balls, having hit one four. As he walked back to the pavilion, Warner was greeted with loud applause and a standing ovation from the MCG crowd.
The left-hander also gave his batting gloves away to a kid in the stands as he was about to enter the tunnel heading to the dressing room.
