Zendaya Is Also Officially Team Millennial Side Part — See Photos

Move over, middle part — the millennial side part has a new member on its team, and it's a big one. Zendaya is the latest celeb to make a case for the oft-maligned side part and her argument is very compelling indeed. (She was born in 1996, after all!)

Z has worn side-parted styles often, most recently when she headed to Paris to attend the Valentino show at Paris Fashion Week. The Euphoria star wore a sheer crystal bodysuit, shorts, and a matching jacket for the occasion and styled her hair long, sleek, and straight with a deep side part for pure Parisian chic.

In case you need a reminder, at the Emmys and the Emmys after party, Zendaya wore her hair pushed back with no parting at all, which makes her PFW parting all the more striking.

However, even if she favored the slicked-back style earlier this year, the Valentino side part joins a league of esteemed hairstyles from the fashion icon, all featuring the controversial millennial side part. She rocked it outside the Valentino show while wearing a coat in the fashion house's signature hot pink. What was more eye-catching: the coat or the part?

A super deep side part updo was the perfect match for her suited-up Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty ensemble. It adds interest and drama to a simple updo and feels completely timeless.

Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach were snapped in New York in early September with the star rocking yet another side part, this time alongside a low ponytail and equally casual outfit of jeans, an unbuttoned oxford short, boots, and an oversized blazer.

But before you get too heated that Z is on the millennial side part crew, she has worn her fair share of middle parts too. For the TIME 100 Gala, she opted for a straight style with a classic middle part, and it looks just as good as her favored side parts.

According to Zendaya, there's room for all kinds of parts: middle parts, side parts, zig-zag parts... well, maybe not zig-zag parts, especially if you lived through them the first time. We can all play happily together — with fabulous hair, of course!
